25 Phrases for an Intermediate EL to Know!

https://youtu.be/XzjQV5oRtOQ

Check out this video for 25 phrases for the intermediate EL to know!  Are any of them new to you?  Try using them in conversation!

English Conversation Practice

This is a long video and you definitely don't need to watch the entire thing, but I think it's a good video to watch if you are practicing your conversation skills.  Watch a section of it and then try to apply the skills you learned in your conversation.  Can you video chat with a friend?

Prepositions for Kids

Prepositions can often be a confusing grammar skill.  Here's a video that really goes into explaining about prepositions.  You can skip the first few minutes, for sure.  After you have watched at least a section of it, try writing a few sentences using some of the prepositions you learned.

Learn English with Harry Potter

Are you a Harry Potter fan?  Check out this video that teaches you English skills and idioms using clips from Harry Potter!

Write 3 new idioms or phrases you learned from this video and explain their meanings.
